In the Udmurt Republic, six people died after using an unknown chemical substance as alcohol. A resident of the republic who handed them this fake alcohol was already detained. A criminal proceeding has been opened.

In one of the apartments in the city of Sarapul, the bodies of four people aged 39-49 years were found. Two more were taken to the hospital, where they died a while later.

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region detained a suspect in the sale of low-quality alcohol to victims, writes TASS, citing a representative of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the region. A criminal case has been opened against the detainee under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - death by negligence. He faces up to four years in prison.
