Moscow doctors allowed to stay for free in hotels near hospitals

Earlier, Novye Izvestia wrote about the critical situation that has developed in the Moscow polyclinics: the residents, who are still with an unconfirmed diagnosis, are in the reception department for hours, infecting other patients. Doctors complained about the lack of basic protective equipment. In Moscow, almost 8 thousand patients have already been identified, about another thousand are in the region, ambulances are already working at the limit of their capabilities.

"Medical staff provided free accommodation, catering and other services in hotels near the clinics and hospitals," - said TASS head of the Moscow department of trade and services Alexey Nemeryuk.

Earlier, at a meeting with regional leaders, President Vladimir Putin announced the allocation of budgetary funds for the increase for doctors and medical staff involved in treating patients with coronavirus. It is noted that each doctor will receive a monthly increase of 80 thousand rubles, nurses and paramedics - 50 thousand rubles each, junior medical personnel - 25 thousand rubles each. Payments will be additionally transferred to medical workers throughout the quarter.
