Mufti of Ingushetia hospitalized with suspected coronavirus died in the hospital

He was hospitalized at night in serious condition with a severe pneumonia and suspected of contracting a new viral disease. After passing the coronavirus test, the diagnosis was confirmed. Connecting to the artificial lung ventilation did not help, the mufti died in the hospital, RIA Novosti writes.

Abdurakhman Martazanov has been the head of the Spiritual Center of Muslims of the Republic of Ingushetia since July last year. Before him, Isa Khamkhoev held the post for 15 years. Before that, Martazanov had worked as a cadmium for almost 20 years; he was among the highest clergy among Muslims.

In Ingushetia, 29 cases of infection with a new disease have been identified, one person died in the last day. In general, the number of cases in the country increased to 13.5 thousand people, about 100 people died.
