The chief physician of the Botkin Hospital in Moscow became infected with the coronavirus

“The hospital fully fulfills the tasks entrusted to it in providing emergency medical care, as well as assistance to cancer, hematology and ovoid patients,” Shabunin said in the press service of the department.

According to the head physician, recently he has been talking with colleagues only in conference mode.

Shabunin is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and an honored doctor of Moscow and Russia.

Recall that earlier the head physician of the hospital in Kommunark Denis Protsenko contracted the coronavirus. He also did not stop working, remaining isolated in his office.

Meanwhile, in Russian regions, doctors report a fear of contracting a coronavirus.
