In total, according to the study, 56% of Russians are not afraid of contracting coronavirus. This indicator has not changed since February, before it had been continuously growing since October, when there were only 40% of those surveyed.

Confidence in the most widespread Russian vaccine, Sputnik V, has also remained almost unchanged since February - more than 62% of those surveyed said they were not going to be vaccinated, - notes the TV channel "Dozhd". In August 2020, there were 54% of them. At the same time, the proportion of those who plan to be vaccinated has decreased even more due to the growth of those who have already been vaccinated. from 38% to 26% of respondents. According to the survey, already 10% of Russians have been vaccinated.

The least number of those wishing to be vaccinated is among young people under the age of 24 (12%), most of all - among people over 55 (37%). Among those who are afraid of contracting the coronavirus, 35% plan to vaccinate. Among those who are not afraid to get infected, only 18% are going to get vaccinated.

In early March, it was reported that up to two-thirds of Russians believe that the coronavirus was created artificially, as a new type of biological weapon.
