Mark Solonin: "The USA could destroy the USSR within 15 years, but they did not do it"

The well-known analyst Mark Solonin in the next issue of his video blog dedicated to Soviet history tried to dispel the persistent Russian propaganda myth that the aggressive West is only thinking how to destroy Russia.

He explains that after World War II, the Americans could have destroyed the USSR with impunity if they wanted to. By the end of the 40s, they already had about 130 atomic bombs. The Soviet Union has two. But the USSR did not even have the ability to deliver these bombs to American territory. While the Americans could easily fly in their strategic bombers and destroy all major Soviet cities. And this full advantage for the Americans lasted from 10 to 15 years.
