No more than 5% of Russian citizens were able to correctly answer the question of who represents the "fifth column".

Slightly less than half of Russians do not know what a "fifth column" is, sociologists at the Levada Center found out *. 46% of respondents said they had no idea who Vladimir Putin had in mind when he spoke of the "so-called fifth column" and "national traitors" who are helping the West fight Russia.

However, the situation is no better for the second half, which also does not really know who to consider the “fifth column”:

For example, as many as 9% are sure that it is: America, the USA and Biden!

6% believe that this is a “glamor party” that has gone abroad; or "rich", oligarchs and businessmen", or "countries and politicians of the West";

More or less correctly answered only 4%, who considered that it was "the opposition and everyone who is against the government."

Firstly, “everyone who criticizes Russia and slanders it, as well as: Shenderovich*, Dud* , bloggers and journalists scored 3% each; and besides – “deputies, Gref, Kudrin, Nabiullina, Siluanov, critics of Putin in the government (including Kadyrov!);

Only 2% remained with "liberals and democrats"; "foreign agents and all who are financed by the West"; “intelligentsia, masters of culture and science”, “Russians living abroad and those who have money there; "undercover western agents"...
