A new system of labor remuneration for teachers will be introduced in five regions

At the same time, the government decree states that teachers will not begin to receive less than they received before the introduction of the new system.

The innovation will affect preschool educational, general education, professional educational organizations, as well as the organization of additional education. The only exception will be the faculty. In the selected subjects of the Russian Federation, the remuneration of teachers will be established based on the qualification level approved by the Cabinet, as well as compensation payments, the amount and conditions of which are also determined by the government.

The pilot project starts in May 2022 and will last for 12 months.
