The share of spending on housing and communal services has grown in 43 regions

In total, the share of expenses for housing and communal services increased in 43 regions of Russia. Such data follow from the calculations of RIA Novosti based on data from Rosstat. In addition to Sevastopol, the share of utility costs for residents of Tatarstan increased significantly - 1.6 pp, Chechnya - plus 1.5 pp, Voronezh and Nizhny Novgorod regions - plus 1.3 pp. in everyone.

Costs decreased the most in the Nenets Autonomous District - minus 4.4 pp, in Kamchatka - minus 2.2 pp, in the Irkutsk Region - minus 1.4 pp.

Analysts compared the average share of household spending on housing and utilities with the total consumer spending in the regions for 2019.

According to the results, Komi residents spent an average of 5,802 rubles on communal services every month, which amounted to 13.7% of their total expenses. In Chukotka, housing and communal services cost an average of 6,708 rubles a month, while the share of family expenses did not exceed 13.6%. In Kolyma, a communal apartment cost residents 8,760 rubles a month on average, which accounted for 12.9% of all expenses.

Moscow was in the top three in terms of the lowest shares of housing and utilities costs. The share of expenses of an average family did not exceed 7.2%, which amounted to an average of 7,792 rubles per month. Next to Moscow in terms of this indicator is Dagestan, where the share of expenses for housing and communal services was 5.1% per month - that is, 3,059 rubles, as well as Ingushetia, whose residents paid an average of 2,954 rubles per month.

The authors of the study concluded that there is an unevenness in the share of housing and utilities costs among different subjects of the Russian Federation.

Let us recall that from July 1, housing and communal services tariffs in Russia increased, and in August, residents of apartments in new buildings were predicted an additional increase in heating tariffs.

Note that in Perm they found an unusual way to motivate citizens to vote in the governor's elections - namely, to write off all debts for housing and communal services to those who cast their votes.
