Over 70 employees of a gold mining company in the village of Zolotorechensk, Olovyanninsky district, are going to strike, local journalists said.
"According to media reports, today workers of the mining company "Darkhan" went on strike because of incomplete payment of their wages. In the near future, the investigators of the Investigative Committee will conduct a set of procedural measures to verify the information", the RF Investigative Committee noted.
Interfax, with the reference to representatives of the department, clarifies that representatives of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee have already left for the place to interview employees and the head of the company. The necessary documentation will also be seized.
According to Chita.ru, the workers wrote an appeal to the Olovyanninsky District Prosecutor's Office about the violation of labor rights. The supervisory authority has also started checking.
Darkhan Mining Company LLC is a subsidiary of Uryumkan Group of Companies.
