He noted that he opposes the use of knitted gloves because they cannot be treated with an antiseptic. According to the physician, there is no point in gloves if you do not change them “a hundred times a day”. Otherwise, "they are contagious and dangerous to others."

The fact that masks can protect from the coronavirus, the doctor also doubts. However, he acknowledged that such a remedy could reduce the risk of spreading the disease to those already infected.

“Since coronavirus spreads during the asymptomatic period, people may not know whether they are contagious or not, so we put on masks at all,” the doctor said, noting that only keeping the distance is the most effective measure for preventing coronavirus.

Earlier, Galina Kozhevnikova, the head of the department of infectious diseases at the RUDN University, warned of the possibility of contracting through gloves. She also stated that the main thing in the fight against the spread of coronavirus is maintaining distance.

We recall that the mandatory wearing of gloves and masks was introduced in Moscow by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. However, he himself was seen without gloves, although he had previously stated that wearing only one mask is a violation.
