The highest level of family well-being, as well as eight consecutive years before, is observed in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The worst performance was demonstrated by Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, Pskov and Ivanovo regions.

The rating was compiled by RIA Novosti, based on data from Rosstat last year. The study was based on the maximum possible cash balance of a family with an average salary after minimum expenses. The family was supposed to have two adults and one or two children.

The results of the study showed that in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, after minimal family expenses, the balance is 88.5 thousand rubles. The region ranks first in the ranking for the ninth consecutive year.

Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District is followed by the Sakhalin Oblast, where the size of the remainder amounted to 72.7 thousand rubles. In third place was Moscow with an indicator of 65.8 thousand rubles.

Next are St. Petersburg ( 57.3 thousand rubles) and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug ( 56.8 thousand rubles).

The last places in the ranking of family welfare were occupied by Karachay-Cherkessia - 6.7 thousand rubles, Pskov region - 5.7 thousand rubles, Ivanovo region - 5.1 thousand rubles, Chechnya - 4.2 thousand rubles. , as well as Kabardino-Balkaria, in which the indicator turned out to be completely negative - minus 1.02 thousand rubles.

The paper notes that the current economic crisis caused by the pandemic of the coronavirus has hit significantly in many areas of the economy, and this has affected most Russian families. According to experts, one should not expect improvement in the well-being of families in Russia following the results of the current year - it will take much more time.

Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced measures of anti-crisis support for families with children - payment of 10 thousand rubles for each child aged three to 16 years. On the very first day after the announcement of these measures, two million Russians submitted documents for support, which caused technical problems in the operation of the State Services website.

However, after the transfer of payments, Sberbank customers began to complain about the write-off of funds as old debts, although these benefits were protected from collection by federal law.
