The dissatisfaction of the residents of the village of Verkhny Karbush in the Omsk region with the regional authorities is absolutely justified, although it is not clear why they ultimately decided to seek help from Angela Merkel, said presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

"Probably, you need to ask the residents why they turned to the authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany, it is difficult to understand these actions. Of course, you need to contact the regional authorities", - said the president's press secretary.

Peskov expressed confidence that the regional authorities will finally pay attention to the situation and take appropriate measures.

"This is absolutely justified anger of the inhabitants of this village. And they are absolutely right, this is absolutely unacceptable negligence and ignorance of such a situation on the part of the regional authorities", - said the representative of the Kremlin.

Recall that in their message Omsk residents told Merkel that their village was formed at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries by Russian Germans, and the current inhabitants of the village have German roots. The villagers complained that many times, starting in 2008, they turned to various "bureaucratic offices", even to the government of the Russian Federation, but none of the representatives of the Russian authorities rushed to help them with the repair of the broken road - Karbyshev Street.

However, the FRG government refused the villagers, explaining that “interference in the activities of local authorities in other countries is not the task of the FRG Chancellor. - I ask you to understand that Madame Chancellor cannot, at your request, take decisive action in this situation. We are very sorry that there is nothing we can do to help you”, - the German authorities stated in their reply.
