Russia has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions imposed in March 2020 on land border crossings. The corresponding document was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin.

These restrictions cease to apply from today, July 15. Since June 14, the authorities have already lifted a number of restrictions on entry into Russia for foreign citizens who traveled by air and by water. However, for land transport passengers, the restrictions remained.

Recall that from July 1, Rospotrebnadzor lifted all restrictions in Russia related to the covid pandemic. Bans on holding mass events, as well as restrictions for public catering, have been lifted. The wearing of masks is no longer mandatory.

At the same time, the rate of spread of coronavirus in the country is increasing. A number of regions have introduced recommendations for wearing masks in public places.
