In schools in the border areas of the Valuysky and Shebekinsky urban districts of the Belgorod Region, by decision of the regional anti-terrorist commission, distance learning has been introduced.

This was announced by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

“In the Valuysky urban district, 15 km along the border, we are transferring schools to distance learning,” Kommersant quotes the words of the head of the region.

According to the authorities, only duty groups will work in kindergartens in the Valuysky and Shebekinsky districts.

The introduction of special measures in the region was required against the background of the ongoing military operation of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine. As it is carried out, Russian border towns and villages are increasingly becoming targets of shelling.

The other day, shells flew into the territory of the villages of Krasny Khutor and Shelaevo. Residents needed to be evacuated . The villages of Logachevka and Zhuravlevka also came under fire . In Logachevka, a local resident, who was a citizen of Ukraine, died . An elevated terrorist threat level has been declared in the region.

Prior to this, during the shelling, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in several other settlements of the Kursk and Belgorod regions were damaged.
