Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, who is on a working visit to the Far Eastern Federal District, instructed to check the implementation of the Far Eastern Hectare program.

Following the results of receptions of citizens in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, he announced a "known problem" when the plots allocated under the "DV-hectare" program are provided without creating the necessary infrastructure.

"Check and report to me within two weeks how the state program is being implemented and what our officials are doing. And where does the money go?", - Krasnov turned to the Main Directorate of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation for the supervision of the implementation of federal legislation. The Prosecutor General's words are quoted by TASS.

Krasnov stressed that such an important program as the Far Eastern Hectare should not be discredited, and the check will take place both at the regional and federal levels.

"We still need to check the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East - how timely the budget funds were brought to the recipients", - said Krasnov.

Earlier, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East prepared a bill to expand the program to the Arctic.

We will remind that earlier blogger Vladimir Stechkin reflected on the topic of the fact that neighboring China would take advantage of "generosity", and "the indigenous population will once again turn out to be uncompetitive and ineffective against the background of migrants".

Let us note that in May last year, a Brazilian citizen received the Far Eastern hectare for the first time.
