Over 763.1 million rubles will go to finalize the infrastructure of the Vostochny spaceport for launching the Gonets-M communications satellites.

With these funds, it is planned not only to modify the ground infrastructure of the cosmodrome, but also to adapt the Gonets-M spacecraft to launch on the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with the Frigate booster block. Recall that in early May, a tank exploded in space from such a unit.

According to the terms of reference, among the works on adaptation of Gonza-M, the development and manufacture of an adapter for interfacing the unit with the upper stage is indicated, as well as the finalization of technical documentation, including the release of a flight mission for a future launch.

Work should be completed by November 15, 2022. Roscosmos will spend on all work more than 763.1 million rubles.

Recall that in February of this year, the Accounts Chamber was going to check again the state corporation Dmitry Rogozin for the effectiveness of spending budget funds. In 2017, the head of the department, Alexei Kudrin, called the total amount of violations attributable to Roscosmos for the year - 785.5 billion rubles .

- We have big problems with Roskosmos. There are simply irrational expenses, all kinds of misconduct, ”Kudrin stated then.

In February 2020, Rogozin complained that now the state corporation’s budget is “an order of magnitude smaller” than that of similar structures in the USA and China, and promised to be more disciplined in expenses.

Note that the theft on the same "Eastern" has become a parable of the town. Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that, despite dozens of previous criminal cases of embezzlement at the cosmodrome, there is no order there and still " steal hundreds of millions."

- Everything has been stolen before us, - explained Dmitry Rogozin, pointing to the guilt of the previous leadership.
