“In the coming days, after the completion of the two-week isolation, the first group of volunteers will be vaccinated, the main purpose of which is to check the safety and tolerability of the vaccine components”, - the Ministry of Defense reports.

The agency’s report says that after the first group has been vaccinated, the rest of the volunteers will be vaccinated with the components of the drug to evaluate the effectiveness of the drug and study the process of generating a humoral immune response, that is, antibodies.

The Ministry of Defense said that the health status of all volunteers who arrived to test the vaccine is good. They - both military and civilian - are under the constant supervision of military doctors.

Recall that the military department selected fifty volunteers to test the vaccine from COVID-19, developed with the participation of specialists from the Ministry of Defense.
