He clarified in the program "Antonyms" on RT that this is a record number of people connected to ventilators.

Protsenko added that now more patients are admitted to Kommunarka than in the previous "peak days", and he attributes this to coronavirus mutations.

Protsenko is sure that only mandatory vaccination can stop the pandemic. He connected the increase in morbidity in Moscow with the "enchanting" attitude of the townspeople to masks, as well as with non-observance of social distance and general relaxation. The doctor said: his attitude to what is happening is not optimistic. He believes that the increase in the incidence will soon reach the regions.

At the same time, according to Protsenko, the capital has not yet reached the peak incidence of kevid.

"I would like us to be at the peak today. But miracles do not happen", - the doctor admitted.

It's worth reminding that in Moscow over the past day, 6,805 new cases of COVID-19 infection were detected. 1,705 people were hospitalized. 486 people are connected to ventilators. More than 16 thousand beds for coronavirus patients have been deployed in the capital.
