The doctor added that the coronavirus mutates more slowly than the flu virus. However, the process of mutation of this virus is endless. The doctor noted that, most likely, the strain that will be more resistant to vaccines against coronavirus, as well as the one that will have a higher spreading rate, will remain in circulation.

In this situation, according to the doctor, the only way out for Russians is to get vaccinated. “We have to be vaccinated en masse, because there is nothing else we can do,” he commented.

According to the doctor, vaccination will not be able to rid humanity of this virus, but it can help reduce mortality from this disease, as well as minimize the number of severe cases of the disease. That is why, the doctor noted, it is necessary to stop printing daily reports on the number of sick and dead, and "accept the situation and move on".
