Deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region for digitalization and social policy Ekaterina Gubareva (pictured) was detained. The reason for this was the case of an economic crime. This was reported by RT and TASS, citing their own sources in law enforcement agencies.

“Ekaterina Gubareva was detained as part of a criminal case, investigative actions are now being carried out with her”, - the source told TASS, noting that Gubareva was detained by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Information about the detention was also published by RT . Gubareva's status in the economic crime case is currently unknown. The Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kherson region, in an interview with RIA Novosti, did not confirm or deny the information about the detention of Gubareva.

“Gubareva was initially removed from her post, after that she left for Moscow and tried to change jobs. But in the end she was detained”, - a source told Caution News.

Earlier today, Pavel Gubarev, former "People's Governor" of the Donetsk region, and now a common soldier of the Russian Armed Forces, announced the disappearance of his wife. On his Telegram channel, he said that his wife stopped communicating last night, and the last time she was seen was in the government of the Kherson region, which is located in Genichesk.
