Gamaleya Center patented a method of administering anti-covid vaccine for children over a month old

"Scientists of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after N.F. Gamaleya of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation received a patent No. 2761904 for a solution related to the use of a vaccine against the SARS-CoV-2 virus in children over a month old", - says Rospatent.

In addition to those already used in the developed center. Gamalea vaccine "Sputnik V" of components based on vectors of human adenovirus of the 26th and 5th serotypes, the document provides for the use of a component using the vector of monkey adenovirus of the 25th serotype.

All of these components can be used both separately and together, in total, the invention includes six such options for their administration. Also, all three components can be used for re-vaccination.

Earlier it became known that the volunteers who participated in the tests of the Sputnik M adolescent coronavirus vaccine at the Gamaleya Center will be paid 15 thousand rubles each after they donate blood for antibodies.
