The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the Russian military, near Mariupol, rescued special forces soldiers from a "bandit ring" in which they stayed for several days in a row.

- Friends, Russian fighters in the Mariupol region under the direct leadership of our Supreme Commander V.V. Putin conducted a successful special operation to break through the bandit ring, which closed around a group of Russian special forces. They remained surrounded for several days”, - Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram.

He also said that the Russian troops were offered to surrender twice, but they did not agree, "remaining devoted to duty and oath". The head of Chechnya pointed out that this is precisely why the military returned alive, without becoming victims of the "vileness of the Nazis".

During the operation to rescue the special forces, the military coordinated with them by radio. After that, "Bandera gangs began to rapidly retreat under the onslaught of fire".

"Everyone will be presented with a state award", - Kadyrov promised, adding that State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov, who participated in the coordination of forces, thanked the Russian fighters for their courage and steadfastness.

It's worth reminding that on March 14, Ramzan Kadyrov appealed to the Ukrainian units stationed in Mariupol with an appeal to immediately lay down their arms. Moreover, he promised safety to those who follow his call.

Before that, the head of Chechnya had repeatedly stated the need for decisive action, especially in relation to the "Bandera and nationalists", to whom he promised a "bullet in the forehead".

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a military special operation in the Donbas on February 24 after he was approached by the heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics with a request to protect citizens.
