Acting Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov dismissed the regional government, including deputies of the former regional head of Vladimir Ilyukhin.
Among the dismissed there are Yuri Zubar, Marina Subbota and Vladimir Prigornev, who supervised the road sector, economic and social blocs. Prior to the election of the new governor, which will be held in September 2020, all remaining members of the government will be in the status of acting, Kommersant reports. According to Solodov, the resignation process is formal and technical.
He noted that on April 20 he intends to introduce several new members of his team who came from other regions of the country. Solodov stressed that the regional government needed changes.
- Changes are needed, they will happen. In particular, I made a decision to reduce the number of deputy prime minister by one. Starting Monday, we will have five vice-chairmen of the Kamchatka Krai government. This is due to the need to improve efficiency and optimize our entire structure and is completely in the spirit of the other solutions that we are working and which are aimed at optimizing our costs associated with providing the work of public authorities, - results quote Acting Governor "Interfax".
