The village of Alekseevka in the Kursk region on the border with Ukraine was fired from large-caliber weapons. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Three houses and a school building were damaged.

As governor Roman Starovoit clarified in his telegram channel, the shelling was carried out early Tuesday morning.

- Three private houses were damaged, a car parked near one of them, as well as a school building. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The shelling was quickly suppressed by the return fire of our border guards,” Starovoit pointed out.

Recall that in the Kursk region, as well as in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Voronezh regions, shelling from the Ukrainian side was noted from the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine. In these regions, an increased level of terrorist threat has been declared.
