Question of the day: will big officials be allowed to enter the State Duma without QR-codes?

Journalists and users of social networks have long drawn attention to a fact that is quite ordinary for Russia: while the authorities by hook or by crook are fighting against violators of antiquarian rules, they themselves are not breaking them, but simply do not notice them at all. Only occasionally was it possible to see Russian officials in masks and gloves, for the absence of which ordinary citizens were mercilessly fined. But now, it seems, the ice has broken.

As Novye Izvestia has already reported, from now on it will be possible to get to plenary sessions of the State Duma and meetings of its committees only upon presentation of a QR-code, and this applies to both ordinary visitors and government representatives. This was stated by the speaker of the lower chamber Vyacheslav Volodin. It is curious that the representative of the government, Alexander Sinenko, to whom Volodin's words were addressed, laughed, apparently not believing in the seriousness of the speaker's intentions. To which he replied:

“We have the right to make such a decision, because these are civil servants. Alexander Yuryevich, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that representatives from the government should come to the hall with a QR code <…> And you are laughing in vain. The government has submitted a bill to the State Duma to apply this rule to all citizens. You have to start with yourself. Are you vaccinated, Alexander Yuryevich? " Volodin asked. He replied that he was vaccinated. "And if you said no, then you would have to leave the hall, and the government would send another plenipotentiary..."

An expert from the Seventh Seal channel, commenting on this incident, writes:

“It looks like the speaker suspected something was wrong. That the government does not want to save anyone and vaccinate themselves, but only forces everyone around. I suspected and was indignant. By the way, not without reason..."

And the channel "Image of the Future" wonders whether high-ranking government officials will fulfill Volodin's demand:

“Tomorrow in the State Duma at a plenary session, Elvira Nabiullina will represent“ The main directions of a single monetary policy for 2022 and the period of 2023 and 2024”.
