Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Gamaleya developed a test system for determining immunity after a nasal vaccine against COVID-19, said Alexander Gintsburg, head of the center.

According to Gunzburg, now immunity can be checked not only by a blood test, but also by a swab from the nose. He clarified that the new system has already been registered - before that it was used differently.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health reported that the nasal vaccine would be used for revaccination. 187.8 million rubles were allocated for clinical trials of this drug.
It is expected that after the end of the study it will be used to vaccinate children up to five years of age.
