“I didn't want to, but I have to”, - Sobyanin stated.

He explained that despite numerous warnings from the authorities, Muscovites continue to ignore compliance with epidemiological safety rules.

"We warned everyone. Please, in stadiums, in large concert halls, be careful, comply with the requirements. So what? There are crowds of jubilant people on the dance floors", - explained the capital's mayor, adding that from today in the city entertainment events are limited to a thousand people.

Theaters and cinemas will be able to work, but dance floors and fan zones will not, according to Sobyanin's message.

The restrictions will be in effect until June 29. Catering will also restrict work from 23 to 6 hours. Zoos, food courts and children's playrooms will remain closed.

In addition, from June 19, Moscow will start operating "kinematic" restaurants. Two dozen establishments will take part in this experiment. According to the plan, in such institutions, all employees will be vaccinated, and only those visitors who have a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus will be allowed in. Children will be allowed in such places without restrictions.

As recently as yesterday, Sobyanin warned Muscovites that in the near future the measures of coveted restrictions could be tightened. He pointed out that the infection spreads very quickly, and the course of the disease also passes quickly: "if earlier we observed these processes from 10 to 14 days, today, within five days, a person has more severe symptoms".
