Amendments are being made to the banking law. According to the changes, the Federal Tax Service is obliged within one day to transfer information about the removal from the tax register of a deceased person, and banks, after receiving such a notification, to stop operations on client accounts.
The explanatory note to this bill previously explained that its purpose is to reduce the risk of illegal transactions with the money of deceased residents.
In addition, according to the changes, if a mobilized resident of the country did not have time to submit an application for a loan holiday to the bank , the credit institution can request this information from the Federal Tax Service. The tax authorities, in turn, will be required to provide information on the mobilization of a citizen.
Recall that at the end of September, the deputies adopted a law on granting credit holidays to mobilized citizens. Credit holidays also apply to those who signed up as a volunteer.
