Either jealousy or betrayal: the media discuss the triple murder in Moscow

According to Russian media, on April 18, 51-year-old former vice-president of Gazprombank Vladislav Avayev and two members of his family were found murdered in Moscow. Police found three bodies with gunshot wounds in an apartment on University Avenue. The call came from relatives who were told by the nanny and the driver that they could not get through and get into the apartment. Arriving there, the terrifying daughter of Avaev found the corpses. In addition, the apartment was a mess. The bodies of Avayev and his wife lay in one room, and their youngest daughter in another.

According to preliminary information, the former vice-president of Gazprombank killed both his wife and child, and then committed suicide - investigators suggest that the head of the family himself fired all three shots from a pistol.

A well-known banker in the past and one of the members of the board of trustees of the Dynamo sports society, he was engaged in private business, he was the general director of the RTK company and the founder of the construction company LLC CARBONICS.

The cause of the tragedy could be a domestic conflict. Information appeared in the media that Avayev allegedly found out that his wife (she was 5 months pregnant) was expecting a child from the driver, which became murders and suicides.

Other sources are looking for political undertones, suggesting that Avaev, who had great knowledge of the assets of top Russian officials, intended to flee abroad to give his information to Western financial authorities, but was neutralized in time.

Avayev owned 13 smooth-bore and rifled weapons.
