The sick leaves for pensioners are extended to May 29

- Citizens of 65 years and older, observing the regime of self-isolation due to the coronavirus, who have not switched to remote work and are not on vacation, can receive electronic sick leave valid for May 12-29. The government has made appropriate changes to the provisional rules for processing workability sheets and assigning payments on them, the official website of the Cabinet says.

New electronic sick leave issued to pensioners, like the previous ones, will be paid from the Social Insurance Fund for the entire period within seven calendar days from the date of registration of the sick leave. Additional documents will not be required.

- If you have been working for more than 8 years, days spent on sick leave are paid at 100%. Earnings for two years are taken for calculation, but at the same time it is limited by the average maximum earnings of 69961.65 rubles per month, it was informed.

Recall that in April, working pensioners were allowed to take sick leave, being in conditions of self-isolation. To this end, on April 1, the government approved Decree No. 402, “On the Approval of the Temporary Rules for Processing Disability Leaflets, Appointment and Payment of Temporary Disability Benefits in the Case of Quarantine for Insured Persons 65 and Over”.
