Truck traffic is fully restored on the border with China in Primorye

Chairman of the Primorsky Territory Carriers Trade Union Petr Kupriyanov said the driver’s strike has ended.

We recall that on May 14, Russian truckers in protest stopped moving through the coastal border crossing. Kupriyanov noted that the drivers took such an action in order to draw the attention of the authorities to the current situation - to reduce the throughput of the point.

- People have to wait many days for their turn to enter China. At the same time, there are no conditions for this - even the toilet has to run into the bushes, said the head of the union.

Later it was decided to double the traffic - from 10 to 20 trucks. The deputy chairman of the regional government Konstantin Shestakov specified that the authorities are still working to restore the volume of traffic to the previous level.
