A slight cooling is also expected in these regions, Vilfand told RIA Novosti.
He clarified that in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, where strong heat had previously been observed, unfavorable weather events awaited the passage of the frontal section. There will be heavy rains with thunderstorms, large hail. In addition, the wind will intensify - it can reach 25-27 meters per second.
- As soon as hot weather sets in, a small change in temperature leads to an exacerbation of the cold front, and these adverse events occur very quickly. Of course, this reduces the fire hazard in the center of the Urals, but due to very dangerous phenomena. After a strong heat, there are always consequences, - explained the forecaster.
The same precipitation awaits the Kemerovo and Kurgan regions, the south of the Tyumen and the north of the Tomsk regions.
Earlier, Roman Vilfand promised the residents of the capital “a normal Moscow summer”.
At the end of June, the forecaster also indicated that the country would face a cold snap after a heat wave.
