The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in Vladivostok Samsonov was given 13 years in prison for child molestation

Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory, the first secretary of the Vladivostok City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Artem Samsonov was found guilty of molesting a minor. He was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime colony, Vostok Media writes .

The Sovetsky District Court found him guilty under the article on other acts of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim, committed against a person under the age of 14.

Samsonov was arrested in November last year. Samsonov's lawyers insisted on a measure of restraint for him, not related to detention. However, the court ruled otherwise.

According to investigators, the suspect, while at the recreation center on Shamora, when communicating with an 11-year-old child, showed him an intimate object and talked about its purpose. A criminal case was initiated under part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
