The Federal Service for Labor and Employment (Rostrud) sent a warning to IKEA about the inadmissibility of violating the law against Russian employees.

RBC writes about it.

Despite the moratorium on the implementation of control and supervisory measures until the end of this year, Rostrud intends to conduct an audit on the fact of violation of the labor rights of IKEA employees. This initiative was voiced by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.

According to the government decree, unscheduled inspections are possible only when it is an exceptional case, for example, on behalf of the head of state, prime minister or his deputies, but no such orders have been received.

According to representatives of Rostrud, The department did not receive mass appeals with complaints from employees of the company. In the trading network itself, they do not comment on the situation, indicating that they comply with the law.

Recall that IKEA stores were closed in the country against the backdrop of a military special operation in Ukraine. In mid-June, the retailer announced its intention to sell its factories in Russia. In July, a large-scale sale of leftovers began. The site is experiencing problems due to the large number of users. To solve this problem, the retailer launched an online queue.
