Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an address to the Russians, announced the beginning of a partial mobilization in the Russian Federation. The corresponding decree came into force from today. The head of the Ministry of Defense said that within the framework of partial mobilization, it is planned to call up 300 thousand reservists, which is 1.1% of the country's mobilization resource.

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu assured that the decree on partial mobilization in Russia of September 21 does not apply to students. He also noted that conscripts will not be sent to the zones of the special operation.
