At all Kuban resorts, including Sochi, a QR code system will operate during non-working days due to the worsening epidemiological situation. Now, without QR codes indicating a past vaccination or a past illness, visitors will not be allowed to Krasnodar cafes and restaurants.

Accordingto the head of the region Veniamim Kondratyev, mandatory presentation of QR codes will be in effect from October 30 to November 7. Even earlier - from October 25 to December 1, QR codes will be needed to attend public events in the region, including sports.

- Taking into account the warm weather, it is quite expected that in the near future the number of tourists in the region will increase. We must do everything to prevent an outbreak of disease in our resorts, - said the governor.

Recall that earlier today, the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, announced today the introduction of non-working days in the capital ahead of schedule - not from October 30, but from the 28th. Following Moscow, a corresponding decision was made by the authorities of the Moscow region.

Initially, the first working week of November was supposed to be three days. However, due to the increase in the number of cases in the country, a long weekend was announced from October 30 to November 7. The President issued a decree on this matter.

During non-working days, Rospotrebnadzor advised citizens to stay at home, not to receive guests, not to travel outside the region, so as not to complicate the epidemiological situation due to the growing incidence of coronavirus.
