"It would be very correct, probably - I do not have the right to give advice to the Ministry of Defense, but as a proposal - on the creation of cybertroops and on the creation of a state order in terms of defense and security for our developers in this area", - the deputy head of the department believes.
He also pointed out that service in the cybertroops could be an alternative for IT professionals to deferment from military service.
Previously, experts pointed out that there are cyber troops in the country, but "no one knows how effective they are".
In March, the Ministry of Digital Transformation decided to introduce filtering of foreign traffic in order to reduce the consequences of unprecedented cyber attacks on government websites. This need arose because cyberattacks were organized abroad, which are subjected to state authorities of the Russian Federation, have become two to three times more powerful than those that were recorded before the start of the military special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
