Since the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, on February 24 of this year, Roskomnadzor has removed more than 133,000 materials containing fakes about the Russian army, as well as calls for participation in riots.
According to RBC, referring to representatives of the RKN, the agency will continue to block false information. The RKN recalled the criminal and administrative liability for spreading fakes about the Russian army.
Recall that in the case of fakes, for example, the Moscow municipal deputy Alexei Grinov was convicted . He was sentenced to 7 years, but then reduced by a month - up to 6 years and 11 months. The second defendant in the case is the head of the council of deputies of the Krasnoselsky district, Elena Kotenochkina, who is outside the Russian Federation and was arrested in absentia.
