"We are waiting for the opening of all borders!" Russian tourists want to fly not only to Egypt

In social networks, a discussion has flared up about whether it is possible to compare the Turkish resorts closed for Russian tourists today with the domestic one.

The vacation season is approaching, and the citizens of Russia urgently need to decide where to rest. It is especially acute after the announcement of the cancellation of flights to Turkey - the most popular and inexpensive destination for our tourists. The authorities, of course, urge people to go to Russian resorts, and therefore comparing them with Turkish ones becomes almost the main topic on social networks. Moreover, there are not so many of them: in fact, only the Black Sea coast, the main resort of which is Sochi. Is it better there than in Kemer, Antalya or Alanya?

Journalist Dmitry Yezhkov writes about this:

“Sochi has changed incredibly. I have not been here so often, but for a long time. When I was a child, my parents took me here. I flew as a student myself. In the 1990s, he went to the complex in Dagomys. In the 2000s, he began to fly to Krasnaya Polyana. I even lived for about a month in Adler.

And I look at everything that surrounds me as an obsession. For all the pleasant aspects of Sochi, he had a bunch of disgusting habits. Arriving in Adler, I did not even immediately dare to go into the arrival hall, remembering how earlier the Armenian bombiles tore to pieces anyone who had to go somewhere. And when he came out, there was not one of them. And they drove me at a price from the Yandex app.

Sochi has always been imprisoned for hucksters who have money and do not feel sorry for them. It is now a resort for every budget. And they will be glad to you with any money. And you will be fine with any option. And this is most impressive: it is so European, and so unlike the old Sochi.

In general, yes. I will soon become a patriot. At the end of 2019, I spent a month in Turkey and I want to say that Sochi is incomparably better than there.

The only pity is that the Motherland will soon break all this with its own hands. After the ban of Turkey, they expect not even a full house, but a Tatar-Mongol invasion. And of course not a trace will remain of the current charm of Sochi..."

However, there is another point of view. A blogger from Ulyanovsk described his family trip to Sochi from April 4 to 11 (that is, not at all in season) and attached an impressive list of expenses to it. So, air tickets to Adler and back cost them almost 40 thousand rubles, and an apartment in the Yasnaya Polyana ski resort for three days - almost 10 thousand rubles. And all this, in general, is not at all expensive. The blogger was surprised by the prices in the water park and ski rental: skis, boots and helmets for 2 people - 3,600 rubles, and two ski passes and two tourist lifts - 7,000 rubles - that's really expensive!

In Sochi itself, tourists were amazed by the cost of a very short cable car ride to the famous Arboretum: 500 rubles per person for a 5-minute trip, which turned out to be 15 (1) times more expensive than a taxi! Well, the average bill for four people for a full lunch or dinner came out at 2500-3000 rubles.

Having calculated all the expenses, the author received a pretty decent amount for the average Russian - 142,600 rubles. And he summed up:

“We didn't buy gold, we didn't drink MOЁT champagne - where did it go? We went skiing one day, went to a couple of parks and visited a couple of museums, once we swam in an indoor water park. And this is still the off-season. And what will happen in the summer? How much did a tour to Turkey for four cost until it was closed? I believe that it is not much more expensive..."

Indeed, in the summer all this will need to be multiplied by at least two, and also take into account that all the entertainment will become much less affordable due to the influx of tourists.

Readers of this publication gave their numbers and arguments:

- Everything is more modest with me. I booked a hotel in Imeretinka for 10 days for 20400 for three with meals - a buffet for breakfast and dinner. Air tickets Kazan - Krasnodar by "Pobeda" airlines - 8000 for three in both directions. Tickets from Krasnodar to Sochi on the Lastochka train cost 4000 in both directions. And so on... Total: about 40 thousand rubles for three for 10 days in mid-October. Everyone walks on their own budget!

- In Sochi there are options for different budgets, we were vacationing at the same time: in a hotel for 10 thousand rubles for two for 10 days in the center of Sochi. Tickets from Novosibirsk for 10 thousand rubles there and back. They went to Krasnaya Polyana by bus, and went to the theater, and walked around the whole city, and bathed in the pool. There are options for every budget...

- We were in Sochi during the season, at the end of June. We entered the sea twice, it was stormy every day, swimming was prohibited. Everything is expensive. For three - one adult, two children, they spent about 150 thousand per week , taking into account trips and fruits. We didn’t get any pleasure, except for Sochi-Park. The children were sick, they spent a lot of money on medicines. In general, darkness...

And what about Turkey? Here are some responses:

- I rested in Turkey in November. 5 star hotel for a week. The whole ticket cost 36 thousand rubles. We thought about going to Sochi. Calculated, it turned out to be 70 thousand per person. Therefore - Turkey. Plus, they swam in the sea in Alanya, it's warm there, and in Sochi they would just look at the sea. The season is closed.

- At one time I traveled the entire coast from Taman to Abkhazia, the service is certainly full of g ... oh, but if you do not pay attention, it will do. But how the prices for everything were raised after the Olympics, this is of course a complete horror, and no one is going to improve the service. After all, if not you, then others will come, and so it will do. Now I go to the dacha and rest there, I want to go to the sea, but finances don't allow it now, it's not prices that have risen, we just became beggars.

- I read all these reviews and hair on end. Sochi, Sochi. I've traveled to Sochi in August for 4 days, and then in September to Istanbul for 5 days. According to the budget, it turned out the same: about 150 thousand rubles both there and there. But for the rest of Sochi, of course, a fierce trash heap. People just can't get through, the food is terrible everywhere, I just keep quiet about the quality of service, the sunbed on the shitty beach is 800 rubles, and they weren't easy. A gazebo with a sofa about 3500. Some drunken devils are climbing everywhere. I lived in a 4-star hotel almost by the sea, you can't enter it without tears. It is generally impossible to eat there, worse than the Soviet canteen, and a standard room costs almost 10,000 a day. I swore never to go to the Russian south again. Crimea, compared to Sochi, is a village in general. You have to be out of your mind to want to get there.

In Istanbul, I can say that for the same money I had a much better vacation, even though I don’t like Turkey. Flight - the same money, a 4-star hotel in the center and excellent, not a barrack in Sochi, the food is gorgeous. I traveled all over the city by taxi, went to a jazz concert, all sorts of aquariums and so on, everything is cheaper. An hour-long walk along the Bosphorus on a boat for 150 rubles per person (!!!) - I was shocked, I thought they were wrong at first .... By the way, to go for a ride in Sochi on the sea - from 500 rubles per person. By the way, I once wanted to drink a gin and tonic in Sochi, went to the first restaurant and to the bar counter: “Pour, I say, a gin and tonic to the bartender, and he will wait for my queue of orders in the hall. Queue of orders to the hall! I almost fell under the counter. All over the world, if a person comes to a bar, they pour him first, and then they do it in the hall. And with such a mug, like you would go otsedova, dog. We are waiting for the opening of Europe with tears in our eyes. Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal - I miss you!

So the conclusion is obvious: both the service, and the prices, and the very attitude towards tourists in Sochi cannot yet be compared with the Turkish...
