Russians started traveling to Minsk to apply for Visa and MasterCard cards

If the Russian bank in which the account is opened provides such an opportunity. The transfer must be made to an account in a Belarusian bank according to the details", - the bank's call center said.

They added that Russians can issue a MasterCard to pay for subscriptions and purchases abroad and in the Belarusian Alfa-Bank. This became possible thanks to "an agreement with the international payment system".

Recall that Russians are no longer available to issue Visa and MasterCard cards. Russian banks have extended the term of already issued cards. You will also not learn how to use these cards abroad, as well as pay for purchases in foreign online stores.

It should be noted that the United States is also trying to impose sanctions against the Russian National Payment Card System (NSPK) and the Mir payment system. In addition, it is proposed to check other banks and payment systems, including UnionPay, which will help Russia avoid sanctions.
