In her opinion, the reason may lie in the mutation of coronavirus proteins, which are still little known. Baranova suggested that, probably, the true reasons can be clarified in six months.

Recall that the Indian strain of the coronavirus, dubbed "delta", was identified in India back in October 2020. Since then, it has actively spread throughout the world, including across Russia, causing a new outbreak, unexpected for everyone, in the midst of the summer heat.
