The relatives of the victims of the Tu-154 plane crash of the Russian Ministry of Defense near Sochi consider their right to a fair trial violated, since the case was closed. They filed a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

- In the interests of 70 relatives of the victims filed a complaint in which we believe that there has been a violation of Article 2 (right to life) and Article 13 (right to a fair trial) on the Protection of Human Rights Convention, - transfers "Interfax" counsel to the plaintiffs of Igor Trunov.

He pointed out that the plaintiffs consider the termination of the criminal case on the plane crash unreasonable.

- None of the responsible persons has been held accountable. The reasons for the death of people have not been established, - said the advocate.

Recall that on December 25, 2016, the Tu-154, which was heading for Syria, crashed in the Black Sea after refueling at the Sochi Adler airport. There were 92 people on board: servicemen, journalists, artists of the Alexandrov ensemble, the head of the Fair Help Foundation Elizaveta Glinka. They all died.
