Arrivals to the Republic of Crimea without a specific purpose will be placed in observatories for a fee. This was announced on Sunday by the head of the republic Sergey Aksenov at a meeting of the operational headquarters to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the region, which is broadcast online.

“Citizens from other constituent entities of the Russian Federation who travel aimlessly to Crimea should accordingly be placed in the observator at their own expense. In case they are not ready to pay immediately after they are in the observatory, they should go to court and, accordingly, recover this entire amount. We are waiting for everyone in the holiday season, but, don’t, we have nothing to do to create a problem for us. Each of your visits, this is an additional burden on the authorities and the health system, let's respect each other", - Aksyonov said.

According to him, the corresponding decree on forced placement in the observer at his own expense will be released on Sunday before the end of the day. Aksenov did not announce the amount that would have to be paid by those placed in the observer. Observers in the region are deployed in Yevpatoriya and Yalta, mainly on the basis of sanatorium-resort institutions.

Recall that until June 1, the reservation and accommodation in hotels were suspended, and all arrivals from other regions are placed in the observer for two weeks, reports TASS.

Aksenov’s proposal is directed against those Russians who expect small guest houses to violate the prohibition regime and receive guests “from the mainland”.
