The vice-president of the Union of Azerbaijanis of Russia told about this to "360" TV channel.

“The restaurant 1001 Nights belongs to an Azerbaijani. About 15 Armenians attacked one Azeri, ”Huseynov said, adding that the participants in the attack were armed with sticks. Based on the code on the surveillance video posted by the channel, the incident took place on 24 July.

Earlier it was reported that in the late evening of July 23 in the southeast of Moscow, immigrants from Azerbaijan attacked Armenians. As a result of the mass brawl, 13 people were detained, some were injured. In the course of the clash, a parked crossover with Armenian numbers was broken in front of the owner. Representative of the Union of Armenians of Russia David Tonoyan said that his friend was stabbed.

As reported by "Interfax", the Armenian Embassy in Russia and the "Union of Armenians of Russia" informed the relevant Russian authorities about the attacks of Azerbaijanis on Armenians that took place on Thursday. This is stated in the statement of the Armenian embassy, published on Friday.

"In case of provocative manifestations, the Armenians can immediately call the hot lines of the embassy, the Union of Armenians of Russia and other structures, as well as contact the law enforcement agencies," the agency quotes the message of the Armenian embassy.

The clashes between the diasporas of Armenia and Azerbaijan began against the background of the aggravation of the military conflict on the border between the countries.

"In recent days, we continue to notice that the Azerbaijani side is trying to transfer the tense situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border to the territory of the Russian Federation and create a conflict between the communities of the two peoples", - said in the Armenian Embassy.

The armed confrontation on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan began on July 12. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported on the shelling of their positions by the Armenian military from artillery installations. Yerevan, in turn, announced about shelling from the Azerbaijani side. Already on the first day of the military confrontation, servicemen were reported killed in Baku. Later, information began to appear about large losses on both sides. It should be noted that for the first time an armed conflict between the countries began not in the region of the unrecognized republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, but hundreds of kilometers from it - in the Tavush region, as it is called in Armenia, and Tovuz (Azerbaijan). The situation on the border has now returned to normal, but tensions remain.
