The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that about 70 thousand volunteers from the republic are ready to carry out any special operation in any territory.

According to him, all of them are ready to voluntarily go to Ukraine, but so far no decisions have been made on the transfer, TASS reports.

Kadyrov has assembled an army of thousands of uniformed siloviki in the center of Grozny. According to RBC, about 12,000 volunteers from among the fighters of the Chechen armed forces gathered in a common square in the center of the Chechen capital, ready to take part in any Russian special operation.

“These are volunteers who are ready to leave for any special operation at any time in order to secure our state and our people”, - Kadyrov said.

As the Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information of Chechnya, Akhmed Dudayev, explained, the purpose of the gathering of the Chechen military in Grozny was to check "the readiness of personnel to carry out any orders of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief - President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin".

Kadyrov said that "in the coming days we will celebrate the liberation of millions of people from violence and murder".

During a rally with the participation of security officials, Kadyrov called on the “so far acting” President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, to call Putin and ask him for an apology.

The Chechen authorities reported that the fighters of the republic are already taking part in a special operation in Ukraine and will be in hot spots in Ukraine.

According to RIA Novost and, on the eve of the social networks of Kadyrov's assistant, photographs were published in which fighters of the "South" battalion of the National Guard perform a collective prayer in a wooded area.

The military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the circumstances "require decisive and immediate action from us, the people's republics of Donbass turned to Russia with a request for help." The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation warned that they would strike only at military infrastructure, and nothing threatened the civilian population.

Meanwhile, from different regions of Ukraine, including from Kiev, reports began to come in about shells hitting civilian objects and about casualties among the civilian population.
