According to the Alpharm analytical company and Farmavestnik, by the end of last month, Erkafarm Group reduced the number of its points by 102, the Melody Health network by 37, and the Neofarm network by 30. Most of the closed points were located in shopping centers.

Watcom Group estimates that by March 30, traffic in shopping centers fell by 70% compared with the same day of 2019.

Erkafarm pointed out that the network suspended the work of its pharmacies not only in the shopping center, but also in sanatoriums and medical institutions. Only points located in the checkout areas of supermarkets remained to work.

However, according to Alexander Chirkaev, head of CBRE retail space rental, the decreased traffic did not affect the attendance of pharmacies located in the shopping center, as they were usually located in the checkout areas of grocery stores. And the deputy director of the department of retail real estate at Colliers International, Boris Matsa, admitted that many pharmacies, on the contrary, are now selling only essential drugs, which are currently set at a fixed margin, and the proceeds from them do not allow you to pay back the rent.

Among the representatives of telecom operators, VimpelCom is facing a difficult situation, which announced a reduction in a quarter of its franchise points. MTS, MegaFon, and Tele2 speak of the closure of salons.

Meanwhile, the malls themselves are in real disaster. The sale of retail space of the shopping center has already begun on Avito. Owners do not hope to restore the previous level of profit.
