Most of those surveyed by the portal Superjob.ru admitted that they approve the idea of increasing the tax rate on personal income (PIT) from 13% to 15% for those citizens whose annual income exceeds five million rubles.

The study, the results of which is cited by Interfax, showed that mainly citizens older than 45 approve of these changes - 68% of them were. Young Russians - up to 24 years old - e so actively support the increase in the tax rate. 47% spoke in her favor.

19% of the study participants spoke out against the initiative, the share of Russians aged 25-34 years, of which only 23%.

20% of respondents have not yet been able to determine their attitude to the changes.

Let us recall that the introduction of an increased personal income tax rate for the rich is not the subject of discussion for the first time. Experts note that before introducing changes, it is worth determining by what criteria this wealth will be calculated.
