61% of Russians supported the "tax on wealth"

The study, the results of which is cited by Interfax, showed that mainly citizens older than 45 approve of these changes - 68% of them were. Young Russians - up to 24 years old - e so actively support the increase in the tax rate. 47% spoke in her favor.

19% of the study participants spoke out against the initiative, the share of Russians aged 25-34 years, of which only 23%.

20% of respondents have not yet been able to determine their attitude to the changes.

Let us recall that the introduction of an increased personal income tax rate for the rich is not the subject of discussion for the first time. Experts note that before introducing changes, it is worth determining by what criteria this wealth will be calculated. For example, Tamara Kasyanova, First Vice President of the All-Russian Public Organization “Russian Club of Financial Directors”, believes that those who earn at least 30-40 million rubles a year should be classified as rich Russians.
