Former Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and former head of the government apparatus Sergey Prikhodko passed away at the age of 64. According to sources close to the family, Sergey Prikhodko has been struggling with a serious illness for a long time.
So far, the exact cause of the death of the politician has not been disclosed, says Kommersant.
Sergey Prikhodko served as deputy head of the presidential administration from 1998 to 2004. In addition, he was aides to the president from 1997 to 1998, and from 2004 to 2012.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed Sergey Prikhodko as his assistant in 2020.
