Margarita Yudina, who was kicked in the stomach by a police officer in St. Petersburg on January 23, is going to apply to the Investigative Committee.

This was reported by the human rights association "Team 29", representing the interests of the victim.

“I intend to contact the Investigative Committee and find out who attacked me”, - Yudina said.

According to the lawyer Yevgeny Smirnov, in the near future the human rights activists, together with the victim, will discuss the details of the incident and discuss "a strategy for protecting her interests".

As a reminder, Margarita Yudina was kicked in the stomach by a passing policeman during an uncoordinated rally on 23 January. As a result of the blow, she fell and received a concussion. The story received a wide public response.

Later, the victim said that the next day, after she was admitted to the hospital, she was specially transferred from the intensive care unit to an ordinary ward for a conversation with the authorities of the security officer who attacked her. The offender himself also came to her - with flowers and apologies. According to him, his helmet was fogged up, and therefore he did not see what was happening. Note that the video clearly shows that the visor was raised.
